 It can be a challenge to enlarge a favorite small format image onto a bigger substrate.
Here the 8x8" canvas had some texture from crafted acrylic tissue paper collage pieces. I was able to skim paint across those hills and valleys and leave a nice abstract image with ease. The larger 30x30 canvas had virtually no texture like that so I'm using a palette knife and loose strokes to create some visual texture. I think it's working.
