Acrylic 16"w x 20"h on 5/8" canvas, sides stapled, gold aluminum frame.
I applied glazes of quinacridone & pthalo colors over a canvas
that had previously been painted with palette knife, leaving lots of texture.
I had no subject matter in mind at all...the big circle just came to me,
and then added the smaller circle to help balance the composition.
The large synthetic brush strokes I was using with medium left some neat textural elements.
